Rod Run

I’m a little behind in my blogging, but I have some stuff. A couple of days ago, there was a hot rod show near my Dad’s place of work. As is the custom, the even t is held on a Saturday when nobody is using the parking lot behind his work. So we have taken to the practice of spending the day there with signs, traffic cones and sexy reflective vests to get SHIT TONS of money by selling conveniently placed parking to the hot rod patrons. This time we made $875.00 split between 5 people, a nice tidy sum of $175.00 each to take home for very easy work for about 7 hours. It was a great time.

Meanwhile, my super-salesman persona was in full swing with the smiles and reassurances of stellar service. It was tiring, but not unsustainable. I wouldn’t want to force it daily, but for enough money and the right environment, I could be a pretty great producer.

  3. Forget working; just own a parking lot and you're set.
